Day 1
Departure : P1, winter oarking, in Saint-Tite-des-Caps
Sleeping arrangement : Cap Gribane in refuge or camping
Distance covered : 8.4 km
Duration: 4 to 6 hours

Day 2
Sleeping arrangement : La Faille in refuge
Distance covered : 9.2 km
Duration: 5 to 7 hours
Note : To reach the refuge La Faille, you will have to go 3km on the same trail you followed on Day 1. You will then intersect with the Sentier du Cap Rouge. You may go on this path which merges with the long distance trail leading to the La Faille refuge.

Day 3
Arrival : P1, winter parking, in Saint-Tite-des-Caps
Distance covered : 4.8
Duration: 2 to 3 hours
Note : Should you feel that a 4.4 km trail is too short, leave your backpack at the refuge and go explore the next lookout towards Cap-Tourmente without carrying extra weight. The lookout towering over the Anse-de-la-Montée-du-Lac is a 4 km round trip from refuge La Faille. The path is difficult but the effort is well worth it! You will then have hiked 8.4 km instead of 4.4 km. You may also hike the l’Anse de la Montée du Lac trail, the Cap Brûlé, etc.

Principal access

From Baie-Saint-Paul, take Boulevard 138 Ouest heading for Québec City to Saint-Tite-des-Caps. The welcoming area is on your right at the corner of rue Leclerc shortly after passing the Dépanneur Esso.
