De la Forêt Marine – La Seigneurie Trail

About

The Forêt marine – La Seigneurie trail offers hikers a new perspective on Saint-Joseph-de-la-Rive; they can take it free of charge year-round. A unique window on the river and Isle-aux-Coudres, it rivals with Charlevoix’s nicest trails. Hugging the Rivière Boudreault which runs in certain locations through a deep canyon, the 4 km trail (8 km round trip) features steep slopes. Its diversity of environments and settings delight hikers of all ages: arched bridges, numerous belvederes, waterfall, picnic areas and breathtaking viewpoints.

The section of the trail (2.5 km round trip) between the Musée maritime de Charlevoix and the dam is relatively easy.
