Trail #1 – Parc national des Grands-Jardins

In winter, des Grands-Jardins national park offers sixty four (64) kilometres of snowshoeing trails allowing for the exploration of this snow-covered forest and the observation of the tracks left by the fauna that lives there. Nature lovers and great outdoor enthusiasts will be charmed by the unforgettable scenery of this area of Québec’s Far North.

You can stop at the refuges of Lac Pointu, accessible every day between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. to rest or eat sheltered, warmed by a log fire, in the forest’s calm. The trail #1 is a linear pathway of 17 km for a snowshoeing or nordic ski trek.

Mont-du-Lac-des-Cygnes’ welcoming area, Route 381, Kilometre 21.

It is always important to get information from the trail manager before going hiking.
