Mont Élie Trail

About

The trail begins at the Lac à l’Est and climbs Mont Élie over nearly 8 km (one way) and represents a intermediate/advanced level of difficulty. There is a refuge at Lac Éclair at the 6th km. Signage provides guidance to hikers and the summit unfolds breathtaking views. The Zec leases a yurt located at Lac à l’Est.

ACCESS

Via the welcome center of the Zec du Lac-au-Sable in Clermont. The 35 km gravel route from the welcome center to the start of the trail is accessible by car. Directional signs are available on the route.
