On foot or by bike, discover the peaceful haven of the Pedneault orchard, on “La route du verger” (The orchard road). This hiking or cycling trail, – a ramp of the island 3-km bicycle path – ,may be accessed from the hazel tree path across the welcoming station or from the path bordering the church’s parking lot.
The path opens to hikers in the spring and closes with the first snow. Stroll on La route du verger in the spring or fall as you like, and admire the blooming trees or the trees heavy with ripe fruits. A nice invitation to nature lovers, this stroll in the heart of the island will bring you calm and you will forget the time.
