La Rémy Trail

About

Hugging the river bearing the same name, this path was specifically fitted for young families. Despite a short but steep slope in a section of Les Florents trail to reach it, the hike is afterward easy. Running along La Rémy River, you will find picnic tables and a bench available halfway down the trail, making for a pleasant pause cradled by the lapping of water. There is a belvedere overhanging a 40 m high waterfall.

Additional information

  • Do not park in the access to the private property;
  • There are significant variations towards the river along this section of the trail.

Access

Close to the Camping le Genévrier, on route 138, take the Terrasse de la Rémy Street for 600 m and turn right on the rang St-Jérôme. At 3.1 km there are a parking lot and information shelter.
