Enhancing its offer annually for twenty years, the municipal network of hiking paths in the Municipality of Baie-Sainte-Catherine adds up to more than 10 km of trails in forest and mountainous terrain.
Pathway
This rustic path gives access to the whole network of trails. In flat land at the start, followed with ascents in the mountains, this trek is embellished by several viewpoints on the river and the mountainous nature of the town of Baie-Sainte-Catherine. Its relief is a succession of descents and ascents, at times steep and even requiring a rope, on a truly short section, for more safety.
Access
From La Malbaie, follow Route 138 East to Baie-Sainte-Catherine. Turn left on Leclerc Street, travel a further 500 meters and turn left at the first fork on the Chemin des Loisirs (gravel and dirt road). The P1 parking and access to the trail are located at 250 m on the Chemin des Loisirs.
