About
St-Urbain distinguishes himself by his rural character. Indeed, this picturesque locality is snuggled up in a fertile valley confined by the impressive summits of the Laurentian which surround him. We find a multitude of agricultural productions there such as the biological porks, emus, ducks and beefs. Of more the municipality is crossed by a magnificent salmon river, the Gouffre river (mean abyss). Qualified also as front door of the hinterland of Charlevoix and the national park of the Grands-Jardins, the municipality is a natural frame convenient to the observation of the fauna, the magnificent landscapes and to practice of outdoor activities.
