About
The Cap Gribane trail leads to the cap’s refuge of the same name and is 16.8 km long. In view of its length, the trail is used by seasoned hikers. It is a section of the long hiking trail linking Cap- Tourmente and Petite-Rivière-Saint-François via Saint-Tite-des Caps. You will discover six belvederes on the St. Lawrence River and the Archipelago of Montmagny islands; one magnificent belvedere offers simultaneously Mont Sainte-Anne, the mountain of Cap Brûlé and Cap Tourmente, the bridge to Île d’Orléans, Old Québec and the Archipelago of Montmagny islands.
Halfway through the circuit, at 6.4 km you will find the refuge of Cap Gribane. It is possible to take the Cap Rouge trail on the return trip.
Access
From Baie-Saint-Paul, take Boulevard 138 Ouest heading for Québec City to Saint-Tite-des-Caps. The welcoming area is on your right at the corner of rue Leclerc shortly after passing the Dépanneur Esso.
