In the heart of the snowy boreal forest, this loop will have you riding through larger-than-life landscapes for a larger-than-life winter spectacle. A quick stop along the way is warranted if you’d like to admire the view of Lac aux Îlots. Nothing is more pure and spellbinding than immaculate whiteness as far as the eye can see. To get your pulse back up, zigzag through the wide and unobstructed trails of Zec Lac-au-Sable. One of the most beautiful rest stops for snowmobile fans is Camp Arthur-Savard in Saint-Siméon, whereas Motel Le 2020 in La Malbaie greets snowmobilers with a warm welcome and freshly renovated rooms. Both are easily accessible.
From 700 meter high, get access to a site whose scenery is simply extraordinary with breathtaking view on the snow-covered slopes of Mont Grand-Fonds and the Malbaie River. It is named Thérèse Casgrain to honour a great Québec lady who, in 1921, fought a long hard battle for women's right to vote.

The summit of Montagne de la Croix, an observation and interpretation site will reveal a 360°panoramic view. From atop, one can observe the town of Clermont, the valley of La Malbaie River and the vastness of Charlevoix's mountains.
