Isle-aux-Coudres discovery

ISLE-AUX-COUDRES | 47 KM

Your journey begins on a free ferry cruise through the broken ice floes. On the island, local club trail 377 takes you across orchards and farmlands as the silhouettes of Le Massif de Charlevoix and the bay of Baie-Saint-Paul appear on the horizon.

Complete your snowmobile ride in Baie-Saint-Paul, from peaks and valleys, for added thrills.

  • Isle-aux-Coudres–Saint-Joseph-de-la-Rive crosses

The long descent of the vertiginous coast at Godin will give you the effect of plunging directly into the icy waters of the river. Afterwards, embark on the ferry where you will be charmed by the spectacle and the unique sensation of the boat sailing through the fragmented pack ice.

  • Pointe-de-la-Prairie

Prairies (trail 377) is located on Isle-aux-Coudres. This four-storey lighthouse built in 1971, is erected on a pillar deeply anchored in the river. It indicates obstacles to navigation such as the grande batture and a shoal on the South-West area of Isle-aux-Coudres.
