La Malbaie

See offers

With more than 2 centuries of history, La Malbaie is considered the cradle of resort vacationing in Canada. It is here that the first white sailed ships with many rich Americans on board arrived looking for beauty and a change of scenery that the region has become famous for. It is also here that an emblematic manor - whose 5 stars shine well beyong the borders – has made a cliff known.

Strolling on Pointe-au-Pic’s  rue du Quai or slowly climbing the chemin des Falaises, allows for the discovery of the maritime landscapes bucolic charm and the bourgeois residences of another century. From here all is possible : going on the beautiful road leading to the whale-watching cruise departures, skiing on the snow-covered slopes of Mont Grand-Fonds, visiting the staple Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu, sitting at the Casino de Charlevoix or breathing the salt sea air on a 6-km cycling path alongside the St. Lawrence.
