Free guided tour of a historic maritime site in Charlevoix
Musée maritime de Charlevoix, Saint-Joseph-de-la-Rive
The offer includes a guided discovery of the 1946 shipyard led by a heritage interpreter, featuring the sawmill, the general store, and the workshop. You'll also enjoy a rare visit aboard the last remaining wooden schooners in Québec, including the Marie Clarisse, a century-old sailing schooner.
The tour starts at 10:30 a.m. and lasts about one hour.
After the tour, visitors of all ages are free to explore the rest of the site at their own pace!

- 4-kilometer Marine Forest Trail offering numerous observation points

Special events and promotions
This summer, residents of Charlevoix and visiting tourists are invited to stop by the Museum to enjoy a series of events celebrating the legacy of schooners, the river, and the sailors of yesteryear. July 5 (Family Day - free admission for ages 17 and under), August 2 (Fêtes de la mer - free admission for everyone), August 15 (Artistes à bord!), and September 13 (Festival Scènes sismiques) are dates to mark on your calendar.
