Downhill Skiing

Come winter, an impressive quantity of snow envelops the Charlevoix region for the pure delight of winter sports aficionados. As early as December, the peaks are already adorned in white and downhill skiers are expected at one of the two wonderful mountains of Charlevoix. Whether for a memorable day as a family, with your loved one, or between friends at Mont Grand-Fonds or at the Massif de Charlevoix, these two ski resorts have all that it takes! From one mountain to the other, the sliding conditions are ideal and the après-ski, a not-to-be-missed event.

  • The Mont Grand-Fonds

This ski center, a true hidden landmark for downhill skiing fans, enjoys a generous annual average of 500 cm of natural snow. On snowstorm days, seasoned skiers merrily dare to tear the off-piste area, the Versant du Lynx, while specialists love tackling slopes, each with its special features, that make every descent a moment of pure delight.
