Screening Of The Film Insecta Mundi With Frédéric Lavoie – International Symposium of Contemporary Art of Baie-Saint-Paul

This coming Saturday, August 22, will see the screening of the film Insecta Mundi with Frédéric Lavoie. Insecta Mundi is an experimental documentary about insects, exploring the concepts of camouflage and metamorphosis. Made in collaboration with the Montreal Insectarium, this film was presented at the Montreal Biosphère in 2025. The idea behind this highly aesthetic visual work is that humans, in turn, feel small before the kingdom of insects, so as to change how they see it and discover all its beauty and nuance. The 45-minute screening will be followed by a discussion period with the artist. The activity will take place inside the Museum.
