Nourish: Cultivating Identity – The Mills of Isle-aux-Coudres

Under the theme Nourishing a community to feed the memory of generations, the organization is reinterpreting the heritage under its care in a contemporary way. This is reflected in the renewed exhibition at the Miller’s House, highlighting both the history of the mills and the miller’s craft, as well as in the complete redesign of the Pierre Perrault Room, which showcases the filmmaker’s work like never before on the Island. Together, these two exhibitions offer visitors a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the islanders’ way of life and understand the importance of sharing their heritage with the rest of Quebec.
