"Les icônes ne mordent pas", a 33-minute art-house film, presents the centuries-old history of icon art; iconography and the codes essential to appreciating its value; the craftsmanship of iconographer Roger Fournier; and the perspective of Robert Tessier, a collector with a passion for history. The film was created by filmmaker Réjeanne Lamothe, whose work is dedicated to showcasing local visual arts and artists through the "Les artistes d’ici" film series. This is her seventh film.
