Originally from Trois-Pistoles and now based in Rivière-du-Loup, Geneviève Roussel navigates the space between operatic singing and popular music. She stands out for her nuanced voice, capable of shifting effortlessly from intimate moments to more assertive expression. Winner of the "Chantez en duo avec l’une des voix de Véronic" contest, she has shared the stage with Véronic DiCaire in both Quebec and France. She also collaborated with Bruno Pelletier in Baie-Saint-Paul in 2019. Accompanied by Donald Charles on guitar, Geneviève explores diverse musical moods, ranging from stripped-back simplicity to more dynamic arrangements. The program features a mix of vocal performances and transverse flute. Under the theme "Here and Elsewhere" (*Ici et Ailleurs*), the *Dimanches musicaux* (Musical Sundays) series presents a variety of performances throughout August in the chapel at Maison Mère Baie-Saint-Paul. Coffee and light refreshments are available on-site.
