Carrefour culturel Paul-Médéric welcomes Jacques Newashish, a multidisciplinary Atikamekw artist from Wemotaci, for an exceptional public lecture. A painter, sculptor, storyteller, actor, and filmmaker, he has been promoting Indigenous culture for over 40 years across Quebec and beyond. Through his art, Jacques Newashish explores memory, territory, and community life. He will share his journey, his reflections, and his commitment to the transmission of Indigenous knowledge.
