From Saint-Hilarion, take rang Sainte-Marie towards the village of Les Éboulements. This central crater route gives a great view of much of the perimeter of the impact through mountain roads.

The Observatoire de l’Astroblème de Charlevoix wayside stop

The Observatoire stop in La Malbaie offers an excellent view of the epicentre of the impact crater, Mont de Éboulements, which rises to an altitude of 700 m. In addition to the view of the central point, this stop offers a panoramic view of the village of Saint-Irénée and the St. Lawrence River.
