Golfers come from far and wide to discover these courses and leave with truly memorable experiences.
Club de golf Murray Bay: a rich history
Since 1876, the Club de golf Murray Bay has been writing its own history. As the third oldest club in America, and the oldest in its original location, this course has much to tell. In its early days, this was a private golf club reserved for its members only. The area was somewhat smaller than the expanse we know today. Back then, golfers not only had to work hard to lower their shot totals, but they had to avoid some rather unexpected obstacles, like cows and sheep grazing the grass in the fairway. In 1928, the animals quietly migrated to the surrounding pastures. The club gradually opened up to local players and grew. Today, the Club de golf Murray Bay hosts superb 9-hole and 18-hole courses.
Club de golf Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu: a prestigious setting
The Club de golf Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu is world-renowned for its breath-taking, panoramic views. Have you had a chance to take your shot on the very first hole of this Saint Lawrence course? Unique doesn’t tell the whole story! As you stand at the first tee, you feel like you’re hitting the ball directly into the waters of the magnificent Saint Lawrence River. It’s impressive and distracting at the same time! Also, this golf club is one of the most awarded in Canada for its excellent play and its incredible landscapes. Whether you play 9 holes, 18 holes or 27 holes, the surreal beauty of the natural world surrounding you is astonishing!
Golf Baie-Saint-Paul: a magnificent landscape
Mountains, valleys, sea coasts… forged by a meteorite impact more than 400 million years ago, Charlevoix has a geographic character like nowhere else in the world. The Golf Baie-Saint-Paul gives golfers the opportunity to play in the heart of a meteor’s crater that leads to an overwhelming panorama. The steep and perched design of the golf holes gives rise to a breathtaking view of the bay of Baie-Saint-Paul, as well as Isle-aux-Coudres rising from the waters of the Saint Lawrence. Challenge yourself on this 18-hole course and feel all the physical and emotional effects of being in the Charlevoix crater!
