In Charlevoix, downhill skiing enthusiasts choose from two mountains. On the western side, the Massif de Charlevoix – the highest vertical drop east of the Canadian Rockies – gets the ball rolling with its groomed ski pistes and off-pistes leading toward the river. To the east, Mont Grand-Fonds – also known as the sun mountain – is the family rendez-vous. Both mountains feature ideal skiing conditions and their after-ski is a must.
