About
The Gaylussacia trail was so named for a rare flower species in the Charlevoix region: the Gaylussacia or black huckleberry (Gaylussacia baccata) that blooms in summer. The plant is very sensitive to habitat alterations and is usually found in very wet areas, hence its scarcity.
During the course of this 2-hour visit, you will familiarize yourself with the Boreal forest ecosystem and some survival techniques for nature and outdoors enthusiasts.
