Le Forestier Trail – Le Massif de Charlevoix

About

The Massif de Charlevoix offers, in addition to sliding sports, hiking trails including Le Forestier trail. This trail with obstacles and wood and stone stairs offers few drops overall. It hits a maple grove and leads to two magnificent lookouts on the St. Lawrence River and Petite-Rivière-Saint-François. You will find a terrace, benches, and tables.

*IMPORTANT* Please note that a part on the trail is temporarily closed. Contact the Massif de Charlevoix ( 1-877-536-2774) for more information.

Access

To get to the base entrance to the Massif, go to the municipality of Petite-Rivière-Saint-François and continue on the Rue Principale (“Main Street”) to the ski station. From the Chalet at the base of the Massif, after crossing the gateway, on the western side of the gondola loft (at the foot of the sled run).

The reception pavilion is only accessible in winter.
It is always important to get information from the trail manager before going hiking.
