About
The Massif de Charlevoix offers, in addition to sliding sports, hiking trails including La Promenade trail. Up until now four hiking trails were created on the Massif’s territory, providing many views on the River and the surrounding mountains. The trails also reach the network of Sentier des Caps de Charlevoix, a long hiking trail linking the Réserve nationale de faune du Cap-Tourmente to the municipality of Petite-Rivière-Saint-François, and the Gabrielle-Roy-Ouest trail, portion of the Sentier national.
Access
From Québec City, follow Route 138 for approximately 62 km. The access road to the Massif summit is on the right hand side. To get to the entrance to the Massif, go to the municipality of Petite-Rivière-Saint-François and continue on the Rue Principale (“Main Street”) to the ski station.
The reception pavilion is only accessible in winter.
It is always important to get information from the trail manager before going hiking.
