La Faille Trail

À propos

The La Faille trail offers a 4.4 km round trip family hike to the La Faille refuge from the parking lot of Lac Saint-Tite. It is part of the long hiking trail linking Cap-Tourmente to Petite-Rivière-Saint-François via Saint-Titre-des Caps. The trail runs along the cliff bordering the St. Lawrence River for the most part, and offers various panoramas of the river, the Montmagny Archipelago and Isle-aux-Coudres. The La Faille refuge is located at the top of a gigantic geological fault overlooking the river; this refuge is accessible to hikers wishing to rest or have lunch (wood is available on the premises).
