La Faille Trail

About

The La Faille trail offers a 9,6 km round trip family hike to the La Faille refuge from the parking lot of Lac Saint-Tite. It is part of the long hiking trail linking Cap-Tourmente to Petite-Rivière-Saint-François via Saint-Titre-des Caps. The trail runs along the cliff bordering the St. Lawrence River for the most part, and offers various panoramas of the river, the Montmagny Archipelago and Isle-aux-Coudres. The La Faille refuge is located at the top of a gigantic geological fault overlooking the river; this refuge is accessible to hikers wishing to rest or have lunch (wood is available on the premises).

Principal access

From Baie-Saint-Paul, take Boulevard 138 Ouest heading for Québec City to Saint-Tite-des-Caps. The welcoming area is on your right at the corner of rue Leclerc shortly after passing the Dépanneur Esso.

It is always important to get information from the trail manager before going hiking.
