La Rémy trail is a trail specially designed for young families or people wishing to go on a short hike. Despite a short but steep and well maintained slope in a portion of Les Florents trail to gain access to La Rémy path, the remainder of the trail is an easy hike. The trail meanders along the Rémy River to the sound of running water and picnic tables and bench are located half-way into the trail to allow for a pleasant break. A lookout overlooking a 50-meter waterfall will probably be added to the path’s limit, in a near future. The trail is 1.1 km long with an added 200 meters for the access. You may gain access to the trail from Rang Saint-Jérôme, where a parking has been built along the road.
- Do not park in the access to the private property;
- The trail’s last 400 meters are closed due to an avalanche danger.
It is always important to get information from the trail manager before going hiking.
