Charlevoix and Côte-Nord,
stick together, naturally!

Need to take off? To drive across seaway, rivers and mountains? To see as far as the eye can see?

Until October 31, 2023, Tourisme Charlevoix, in partnership with Tourisme Côte-Nord, is giving you the chance to win a $4,000 travel credit to spend on their members throughout the summer of 2024, a full $2,000 in Charlevoix and $2,000 in the Côte-Nord region!

Participating in the contest is easy: think of it as a road trip in the form of a treasure hunt. Your goal is to collect destination stickers from the various sectors in the two regions and take pictures of them in our spectacular settings. The more photos of the different stickers you submit, the more chances you have to win!

*The stickers are free and available while supplies last.

How to submit your photos

Every time you take a photo of a new sticker (one entry per day, per email address, allowed for each region), upload it to the registration form on either the Tourisme Charlevoix or Tourisme Côte-Nord website, depending on the region of the sticker in question... and that’s all there is to it!

The draw will take place online on November 1, 2023, at noon.

Where to find the stickers

The seven stickers representing the Charlevoix region are available in its tourist information centres in Baie-Saint-Paul, Isle-aux-Coudres, La Malbaie, and Saint-Siméon. To obtain the free stickers, you’ll be asked for proof of your stay in the sector that’s depicted on that oh-so-coveted sticker. The proof might be a photo of you taken at one of the sector’s iconic sites the day before, or a bill for a purchase you made in one of its businesses.

The seven sector stickers you’ll need to collect are: Petite-Rivière-Saint-François, Baie-Saint-Paul, Les Montagnes, Cratère et marées, l’Isle-aux-Coudres, La Malbaie and Saint-Siméon/Baie-Sainte-Catherine. An eighth sticker representing all of the Charlevoix and Côte-Nord collections rounds out the set.

And as long as you’re in the mood for a road trip, why not follow the route to the neighbouring region, the spectacular Côte-Nord, where our contest was born? Now in its second edition, the Côte-Nord version of the contest features a whopping 43 stickers to collect!

About the artist

The artist who created the magnificent images on the Charlevoix stickers is Carol-Anne Pedneault, an illustrator and graphic designer madly in love with Isle-aux-Coudres, the mythic place where her family has lived for nine generations.

Cofounder with her textile designer cousin Pascale Perron of the Fabrique de l’Isle, a friendly café-gallery that hosts a craft market and other cultural events under its apple trees, Carol-Anne Pedneault wants more than anything to celebrate the beauty of her home, and the strength and solace it gives her, though her constantly renewing projects.

Driven by the creativity of the ever-changing river in her backyard and inspired by the gentle colours and contrasting textures of the mountain views, the winter’s ice, the rocks, and the tides, Pedneault creates her digital works from photos of twigs, flowers, and reflections on the water over which she then digitally draws, for a fantastic play of transparency and overlay.
