Parc national des Hautes-Gorges-de-la-Rivière-Malbaie (croisières)

About

Discover the remarkable history, fauna and geological features of the Parc national des Hautes-Gorges-de-la-Rivière-Malbaie with a park warden on board Le Menaud riverboat (47 passengers). Navigate between the steepest rock cliffs east of the Canadian Rockies.

Activities

  • Visit the national park during an approximatly 1 and a half hour cruise aboard Le Menaud, a riverboat that holds 47 passengers. The rear deck is specially designed to make it easy for you to take photographs. The captain and park warden-naturalist will be more than happy to share their little corner of paradise with you. You can also try the dusk cruise. Many people consider the 6:30 p.m. cruise the best one of the day. In fact, the river often becomes calm at this time, the animals come out, and the play of light on the rocky cliffs is at its height. Come and share these beautiful moments with the riverboat crew!

  • Come and meet a naturalist park keeper aboard the riverboat or rabaska canoe, for an evening chat or planned activities, and he’ll introduce you to the park in his own way. Or pick up a self-guided tour guide to explore the Malbaie River at your own pace. Guaranteed fun!

  • Whether a beginner or experienced, this is a nice way to discover the breathtaking landscapes and the secrets of the valley between the dam of maples and the bracket sector. You can rent a boat for 1 h, a block of 4 hours or an entire day equipment rental center. Guaranteed fun!

  • Discover the enormous potential of the Malbaie River. Ideal place to learn about fishing with family or friends, wading or boat. Black Lake, meanwhile, allows you to tease the fish in an exceptional environment rowboat. Brook trout and unforgettable sensations featured therein.

  • Seven hiking trails are available for exploring the park. The most spectacular, difficult level, Acropole des Draveurs from a height of 800 meters in altitude offers a unique perspective. Other easy and intermediate trails will not leave you indifferent. Good discovery!
