Centre d’exposition Inouï

About

The mission of the Inouï center is to promote contemporary art through the tangible and intangible heritage of the region. Therefore, works of art and artefacts belonging to the heritage coexist, to allow an original and poetic dialogue. Our first exhibition on the theme of navigation and landscape is called “Naviguer le paysage”, from June 26 to October 3.

This is a collection of miniature boats and navigation artefacts assembled by Mr. Raymond Lavoie and, on loan from the Charlevoix Museum, which are associated with works by four artists: Marie-Claude Gendron (Montreal) , Karine Locatelli (Les Éboulements), Josiane Lanthier (Baie-Saint-Paul) and Carlos Ste-Marie (Sainte-Brigitte-de-Laval.). The four artists have a current practice in painting, drawing, sculpture, and video.
