Dance mediation workshop program. CARAVANE is a program of workshops aimed at demystifying the process of choreographic creation in contemporary dance and hip-hop, in the Charlevoix region.
Aimed at all audiences (no prior knowledge required), the workshops offer an extraordinary opportunity to dive into the approach of four exceptional choreographers: Catherine Gaudet, Frédérick Gravel, Riley Sims, and Alexandra 'Spicey' Landé.
Through exchange activities, research into the body and observation of the work of these choreographers, who each benefit from a one-week creative residency, the program offers participants experiences of discovery. nourishing and dynamic.
CARAVANE's programming spans 4 weeks, with a series of workshops per week, dedicated to each of the 4 choreographers in residence. Each series has 3 components - WARMING, BALLROOM and SHOWCASE. The 3 workshop formulas are complementary, but not interdependent: it is therefore possible to attend the à la carte activities or to experience the complete course around the process of a choreographer by obtaining a Passport, giving access to a series.
CARAVANE workshops are thought out and animated by Sara Hanley or Georges-Nicolas Tremblay, two seasoned mediators. Their experiences as artists and as teachers has made them very dedicated people to support you in learning how to dance!
