Day 1
Departure: P1, winter parking lot, in Saint-Tite-des-Caps
Sleeping arrangement: La Faille in refuge or camping
Distance covered: 4.8 km
Duration: Approximately 2 hours
Note: Should you feel like continuing once you have reached the Refuge La Faille, leave your backpack at the refuge and go explore the next lookout towards Cap-Tourmente without carrying extra weight. The lookout towering over Anse-de-la-Montée-du-Lac is a 4 km round trip. A trek of Anse-de-la-Montée-du-Lac going down to the river represents a difficult 4 km round trip.

Day 2
Arrival: P1, winter parking lot, in Saint-Tite-des-Caps
A Trail: Returning by the Anse-de-la-Montée-du-Lac trail  

• Distance covered: 4.5 km;
• Duration: 2 to 3 hours.

B Trail: After 2.5 km, head to the De la Chute trail (4.6 km) or the Du Cap Rouge trail (5.3 km).

• Distance covered: 9.1 or 9.8 km;
• Duration: 5 to 6 hours.

Principal access

From Baie-Saint-Paul, take Boulevard 138 Ouest heading for Québec City to Saint-Tite-des-Caps. The welcoming area is on your right at the corner of rue Leclerc shortly after passing the Dépanneur Esso.
