Promenade des Capitaines

About

Located in the heart of Saint-Joseph-de-la-Rive, this promenade invites to the discovery of Les Éboulements marine life. The first 600 m of the course constitute the area where once, more than 80 schooners – these freight transport ships of the 19th and beginning of the 20th centuries – were built. The Musée maritime close to the promenade, has preserved the vestiges of this era. The rest of the itinerary will take you to the town’s core and lead you to the pier, boarding site for Isle-aux-Coudres.
