Les Éboulements hiking trail consists of the Louis-Charles-Audet and Le Paysan trails
Pathway
Le Paysan trail runs through a softwood tree forest, then goes up a mountain. The lookout on top offers a view on the agricultural fields, the village and the Saint. Lawrence River. The Louis-Charles-Audet trail runs occasionally through the woods, but mostly through the fields. It goes slightly up at the beginning, then comes down to the River. At the trail’s end, a lookout furnished with benches proposes a view on the River.
Access
From Baie-Saint-Paul, take Route 362 East to the village of Les Éboulements. The trails’ starting point is at the Resto-Boutique La Table, 2593, route du Fleuve (River Road, Route 362).
Additional information
- Be careful : giant hogweed plants, a highly toxic plant, were identified along the trail. It can go up to 2.5 meters high, its toothed leaves are divided between 1 to 3 leaflets and its small white flowers are arranged in umbels. Avoid touching them;
- Be careful during the hunting season.
