Du Lac Roger Trail – Baie-Sainte-Catherine

About

Enhancing its offer annually for twenty years, the municipal network of hiking paths in the Municipality of Baie-Sainte-Catherine adds up to more than 10 km of trails in forest and mountainous terrain.

Pathway

The Du Lac Roger Trail is part of the 3 interwoven linear trails allowing for going through many loops and admiring spectacular views.

It is the network’s shortest trail, easily accessible to beginner hikers and families. From the start, note a small more technical section on the access path where some viewpoints attract attention. At the end, the path offers a spectacular view on Lac Roger and its inlets, and the surrounding mountains. The path reveals summits as far as the eye can see, and in clear weather conditions, you will even glimpse the majestic Saint-Lawrence River and the South Shore.

Access

From La Malbaie, follow Route 138 East to Baie-Sainte-Catherine. Turn left on Leclerc Street, travel a further 500 meters and turn left at the first fork on the Chemin des Loisirs (gravel and dirt road). The parking area is 100 meters further to the left.

It is always important to get information from the trail manager before going hiking.
