Motorcycle Touring

Riding through Charlevoix is more than just rolling for countless kilometres – it’s a real paradise for bikers. Spanning over a 6,000 km2 territory in the heart of the Canadian Shield, it has enjoyed UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve status since 1989. Charlevoix’s attractions are absolutely unique. To one side, admire the majestic St. Lawrence River and to the other, the splendour of soaring mountains.

In these parts, all the attributes required for a successful motorcycle getaway far away from it all are yours. Countless kilometres across valleys and hills, friendly people, restaurants brimming with local flavours, quality lodgings, assorted activities and still more bends and that never-ending winding road ahead…not to mention the river and mountains - Charlevoix has it all!

The region abounds with absolute musts, particularly when your adventure begins on a bike. Four different routes are suggested: The River Drive, The Mountain Drive, Isle-aux-Coudres and The Marine Park Sector. Each possesses its own distinct characteristics, and very own identity.
For your next vacation, if you’re thinking spectacular routes to explore by bike, wonderful cuisine savoured between the two of you or relished among friends, quality lodging establishments where hosts greet you warmly, activities for every taste and first rate events, the Charlevoix meets your every expectation.
