The Baie-Saint-Paul International Symposium of Contemporary Art is an annual contemporary art event that invites artists to spend a month working in front of an ever-growing public. The Symposium is the only professional event of its kind where the public is invited to meet the artists. It has become a prestigious reference in the milieu.

Back in 1980, Le Temps d'une paix took over the small screen and forever immortalized itself in Québec's collective memory. Written by Pierre Gauvreau, the mini-series depicts Québec's advance towards modernity between the two World Wars.
Remembered are Rose-Anna, Joseph-Arthur, Mémère Bouchard, Ti-coune and the others, as well as their lives which are not always peaceful in the lovely Charlevoix region. Thirty years later, Le Musée de Charlevoix is showcasing behind-the-scenes sets, characters and storylines from the mini-series.
