Activities

  • Popular in the fall for moose hunting, the ZEC becomes quieter in the second week of October and small game hunting enthusiasts can then have fun. The forests are full of partridges and snowshoe hares and spruce grouse are also spotted there. The ZEC also offers the possibility of hunting black bears in the spring independently or on a baited site. Sharpen your senses and come experience beautiful moments of adrenaline!

  • The ZEC territory has many wild beaches, accessible either by car, on foot or by canoe and kayak. These enchanting sites are all suitable for swimming and the pleasures of relaxation.

  • Come and discover our canoe-camping circuit with family or between friends! Over about 18 km round trip, our trail crosses a series of lakes with unique landscapes interspersed with short portages. Beaches, chains of islands, avian and terrestrial fauna are waiting for you! This intermediate-level journey can be completed in one or two days, with the possibility of an extension for the more adventurous. The Zec also offers kayak rental for the day to allow you to explore our Parcours des Marais as well as discover the surrounding lakes and beaches. Enjoy the adventure!

  • With more than 120 lakes on its territory, the Zec offers endless fishing possibilities! Whether for fly fishing fans, light casting, or wading, all the options are within reach! Our lakes are home to a large population of speckled trout (brook trout) as well as the famous red trout (arctic char). In addition to providing access to these native species, the Zec also offers the possibility of fishing in stocked lakes. If you don't have your own boat, just contact us and we'll make sure to keep a rowboat available for you. Good fishing!
