About

The Observatoire de l'Astroblème de Charlevoix is the only interpretive centre focused on the region's famous meteoritic origin. A scientist-host will guide you through an interactive visit featuring several spectacular samples of Charlevoix impactites. There are even meteorites you can hold in your hands! An essential experience for everyone to better understand Charlevoix’s physical origins. We also offer the opportunity to discover the regional geology on a guided a hike along the St. Lawrence River! Reservations are mandatory, please see our daily schedule and all other details on our website.

    Visit in the evening and have a look at Jupiter and Saturn. Or see a 5000 star cloud. We enjoyed it. Make sure you bring a jacket, it can get cold.
