An emu farming business with emus of all ages. Interesting and educational agritourist entertainment. Two ranges of by-products are offered, body care products with pure emu oil and gourmet products. The pure emu oil EMEU CHARLEVOIX is now transformed at the farm in the Huilière Economuseum. The gourmet area now offers a variety of dishes ready-to-eat on site.

The Économusée de la huilière was created to show how emu oil is produced and processed. It provides a wealth of information on traditional know-how and how Quebecers past and present use the oil in their daily lives. Visitors can also visit the processing centre to see how emu fat is transformed into pure oil. The boutique showcases a wide range of natural Emeu Charlevoix products made using pure oil, and the bistro gives visitors the chance to sample the products on site for a true gastronomic experience at the farm.

A guided tour of the Centre de l’Émeu de Charlevoix allows for the discovery of a descendant of dinosaurs. You will be amazed by the emu’s physiognomy, lifecycle, hierarchy and the high quality of all its by-products. The pure emu oil is unique and sought after and the emu meat is delicious yet still unknown. An absolute must-see.
