License & Information
Residents and non-residents must obtain a licence to hunt and fish in Québec. Fees vary depending on the category and species. Licences may be obtained :
• From authorized agents
• On-site, in hunting and fishing zones (inquire in advance), at the regional offices of the Société de la faune et des parcs du Québec (government park & wildlife authority), and from outifitters.
In addition to the Québec small game hunting licence, a Canadian licence is required to hunt migratory birds. This type of permit is solda at post offices. Brochures with additional information are available by writing to or calling :
