Get back in touch with nature and thrill at the sight of the river and the mountains. Winding its way through boreal and older forests, this trail rewards hikers with stunning vistas of the St-Lawrence, the Montmagny archipelago, and Isle-aux-Coudres. Explore this 51 km trail on foot or by snowshoe from the Cap-Tourmente Wildlife Reserve (in winter from Saint-Tite-des-Caps) to Petite-Rivière-St-François - it's well worth the detour. Rustic campsites and nine shelters are available to adventurers along the way. Two to eight-day expeditions are possible, as are vehicle and luggage shuttle services. Eight trails run through the Saint-Tite-des-Caps sector for day hiking and snowshoeing. Cross-country ski enthusiasts rendezvous at the summit of Le Massif de Charlevoix, at the Charlevoix Welcome Centre, where 27 km of enchanting trails, with a further 14 km exclusively reserved for snowshoeing await. Three cabins overlooking the St-Lawrence River are also available. This whole sector is open to hikers in summer, with required registration at the Saint-Tite-des-Caps office.
