Cyclotouring

Cyclotouring is very popular in the Charlevoix. The region holds its own Classic biking events that include le Tour de l’Isle-aux-Coudres, a favourite among the sport’s aficionados. The majesty of the mountains and the salty river breeze bestow a special something on a simple bike ride, a truly original way of discovering the region. One leg of la Coupe du Québec’s mountain bike event takes place in Baie St-Paul. Route 362 berween Baie-Saint-Paul and La Malbaie offers cyclists sublime riverside scenery, but for a less challenging ride, the village sideroads of Saint-Hilarion, Saint-Aimé-des-Lacs and Notre-Dame-des-Monts propose lovely views of Hautes-Gorges-de-la-Rivière-Malbaie National Park.
