Covered Bridge

Saint-Placide-de-Charlevoix’s covered bridge was built in 1926 as a means to cross Rivière du Bras du Nord-Ouest. The covered bridge with its québécois town or elaborate architecture is the last structure of its kind still in existence in the Greater Québec City region. In 2002, it was classified as a historical monument by the City of Baie-Saint-Paul. Accessible during the summer months, Saint-Placide-de-Charlevoix’s covered bridge is for observation only.
