Discover a world-class moutaineering and adventure park 12 km from Saint-Siméon on highway 170, the road to Saguenay-Lac Saint-Jean. Les Palissades invites outdoor and mountain enthusiasts to discover an exciting array of new activities, including two Via Ferrata courses, a suspension bridge, and indescribable rappelling everyone to enjoy. The site features 15 km of hiking trails with aerial lookouts. The two Via Ferrata courses consist of guided cliffwalks with safety cables (no climbing experience necessary, reservations required), providing thrills once reserved to climbers only. Rock climbing buffs will be excited by the 150 routes+ to 400 meters and for all calibres of climbers (up to 5.13). Visitors can also cross the lake on a zip line that's over 250 meters long. A highly diversified forest, a glacier lake and an impressive talus at the base of a 4 km long granite rock face that offers views of the lovely and winding Rivière Noire, and the mighty St. Lawrence River.
