For over 37 years, Poterie Port-au-Persil's workshop and school - the oldest of its kind in the province - serves as a tribute to founder and master potter Pierre Legault, whose gla-zing research, innovative wheel techniques and commitment to teaching helped assemble a world-calibre pool of local talent. The gallery boutique features the handmade creations of 50 Québec ceramists. Every summer, Poterie de Port-au-Persil invites visitors to create and sign their own pieces under the supervision of a resident or guest artist. Espresso coffee & wireless Internet on the back patio.

Schedule : Boutique: Open daily, May 1- Thanksgiving; June, July and Aug., 9am - 6pm. May, Sept. & Oct. 9:30am - 4:30pm Workshop: June 24 - Labour Day: Monday to Friday, 9:30am-5:30pm (off-season: on request), reservations required at all times (fee applies).
